Data center development compresses a decade of civil work into a couple of years, and the front end is the worst of it. Candidate parcels get shortlisted, optioned, and dropped in weeks — but a conventional topographic survey on a 300-acre tract takes longer than the diligence window, so earthwork assumptions get made from coarse public elevation data instead. On sites where a hundred thousand yards of unplanned cut is a real possibility, that's an expensive place to guess.

One Dataset, Every Team

Deliverables are shaped for the teams a data center project actually staffs: Civil 3D-ready surfaces and CAD contours for the civil engineer of record, ground-classified LAS/LAZ for detailed analysis, DEM GeoTIFFs and SHP files for the site-selection and GIS analysts, and cut/fill comparisons for the earthwork contractor.
