White-Label Drone LiDAR for Land Surveyors

We're the capture arm; you're the licensed professional. Aerial LiDAR flown to your control, processed to your spec, delivered under your brand — with your client relationship untouched.

01// The Problem

Your Crews Are Your Bottleneck

Every survey firm knows the math: a 300-acre wooded tract can eat a two-person crew for weeks, and that's field time your boundary and construction-staking backlog can't spare. Steep slopes, wetlands, and active facilities add safety exposure on top of schedule exposure. And when a client asks for aerial LiDAR directly, the honest answers are all uncomfortable — buy a six-figure sensor and aircraft you'll fly a few times a year, learn a processing pipeline from scratch, or pass, and watch the work go to whoever didn't.

Owning the hardware only solves the problem if you can keep it and a trained operator busy. For most firms, aerial capture is a capability they need on demand — not a department they need to build.

02// The Fix

A Capture Crew You Direct, Not a Competitor

Pro LiDAR works under your direction as a subcontracted aerial capture and processing resource. To be precise about roles: we perform drone LiDAR capture and data processing — we are not land surveyors and don't hold ourselves out as such. You define the scope, the control, and the standards; you review the data; you make every professional determination. The division of labor looks like this:

  • You set control. We fly to your control points and datum. The point cloud comes back tied to the network your firm established, so verification happens on your terms.
  • We fly and process. A vetted, FAA-certified pilot near the site captures the tract — canopy, slopes, and all — and our point cloud processing team returns ground-classified data to your specification.
  • You review and certify. Adjustment, QA against control, and any certified or stamped deliverable are yours alone. We supply data; you supply professional judgment.

Because our pilot network covers all 50 states, you can also say yes to work outside your usual field radius — the capture happens near the site while your office keeps control of the project.

03// Deliverables

Data Your Office Can Interrogate

White-label engagements deliver both raw and ground-classified LAS/LAZ so your team can audit the classification rather than take it on faith, plus DEM GeoTIFFs and CAD contours generated to your interval and datum. Everything arrives unbranded, in the coordinate system you specify, ready for your adjustment and drafting workflow — Civil 3D, Carlson, or whatever your office runs.

04// FAQ

Surveyor Questions, Answered

Are you competing with land surveyors?

No — we depend on them. Pro LiDAR performs aerial capture, mapping, and data processing; we do not practice land surveying and never certify survey deliverables. Remote Optix Inc. and Pro LiDAR are not professional land surveyors and do not represent themselves as such. On white-label work, you are the professional of record, the data is processed to your specifications, and the client relationship stays yours.

Whose control network does the capture use?

Yours. You set the control and datum requirements — we fly to your published control points and deliver data tied to them, so the point cloud checks against the network you already trust and you can verify residuals yourself before anything moves downstream.

Does "white-label" mean our client never hears the name Pro LiDAR?

Correct. We operate as your subcontracted capture crew. Deliverables carry no Pro LiDAR branding, our pilots coordinate through you, and we never contact or market to your client.

How do we verify the data before we put our stamp near it?

You receive both the raw and ground-classified LAS/LAZ along with capture metadata, so your office can run its own checks against control before accepting the surface. Review, adjustment, and any certification are entirely your professional judgment — exactly where they belong.
