SVC / 01
Drone LiDAR Scanning
Millimeter-accurate aerial point clouds captured by sensor-equipped UAVs.
// Coverage / NE / Omaha
Engineering-grade aerial LiDAR across the Omaha area — captured by FAA-certified pilots who fly this market every week, processed to one national QA standard, delivered in the formats your team works in.
01// Field Notes
The metro straddles the Missouri River valley, with loess bluffs breaking up otherwise-gentle cropland — greenfield sites on the Sarpy County side are largely open row-crop ground that flies fast and processes clean. Wind is the constant companion on the Plains; we schedule around frontal passages, and winter capture works fine on cleared sites when the snow holds off.
Eppley Airfield's Class C sits tight against downtown and the riverfront, and Offutt Air Force Base — home of U.S. Strategic Command — dominates the airspace picture south of the city, exactly where the data-center corridor is growing. Our pilots coordinate the Offutt-adjacent work carefully; Millard and Council Bluffs airports add smaller rings, and LAANC covers the controlled areas.
Sarpy County has quietly become a hyperscale destination: Meta's campus in Papillion and Google's build-out near Papillion and Omaha keep adding halls, substations, and the transmission upgrades that come with them. Around that core, Gretna and the Highway 370 corridor are among Nebraska's fastest-growing communities, and riverfront redevelopment plus steady Union Pacific and agricultural-industry construction round out the demand.

03// FAQ
Most Omaha projects fall between $2,500 and $15,000 depending on acreage, vegetation, deliverables, and whether certified survey control is required. Small single-site scans start lower; large campuses and corridors are quoted per site or per linear mile. Send a KML of your site and we return an exact quote within 24 hours.
Because our FAA-certified pilots are local to the Omaha area, most sites can be captured within days of contract — weather and airspace authorization permitting — without travel mobilization costs. Processed deliverables typically follow within one to two weeks depending on scope.
Our point clouds, DEMs, and contours are engineering-grade and drop directly into CAD, GIS, and BIM workflows. When a deliverable must carry a professional land surveyor's certification, we partner with licensed surveyors in Nebraska to provide it. Remote Optix Inc. and Pro LiDAR are not professional land surveyors and do not represent themselves as such.
