High-desert New Mexico offers sparse piñon-juniper and grassland cover that produces excellent ground returns in any month. Elevation is the variable to plan around — much of the state sits above 5,000 feet, thinning air for aircraft and crews alike — and the July-through-September monsoon brings afternoon storm cells that push flights to mornings.
Albuquerque International Sunport's Class C, on a field shared with Kirtland Air Force Base, is the state's main controlled ring. White Sands Missile Range and the military airspace serving Holloman AFB close off a huge block of south-central New Mexico, so Tularosa Basin projects need early coordination.
The New Mexico side of the Permian Basin — Lea and Eddy counties — generates well-pad, pipeline, and facility mapping at an intensity rivaling Texas. Most New Mexico projects fall between $2,500 and $15,000 depending on acreage, vegetation, deliverables, and whether certified survey control is required. Small single-site scans start lower; large or corridor projects are quoted per linear mile. Send a KML of your site and we return an exact quote within 24 hours.
Yes — Pro LiDAR contracts vetted, FAA-certified pilots across New Mexico, including the Albuquerque area. Because capture happens locally, you don't pay travel mobilization for most sites, and weather windows can be hit quickly.
Our point clouds, DEMs, and contours are engineering-grade and drop directly into CAD, GIS, and BIM workflows. When a deliverable must carry a professional land surveyor's certification, we partner with licensed surveyors in New Mexico to provide it.
