SVC / 01
Drone LiDAR Scanning
Millimeter-accurate aerial point clouds captured by sensor-equipped UAVs.
// Coverage / TN
Engineering-grade aerial LiDAR anywhere in Tennessee — captured by FAA-certified pilots near your site, processed to one national QA standard, delivered in the formats your team works in.
01// Field Notes
Tennessee steps down from Smoky Mountain and Cumberland Plateau forests through the Nashville Basin to Mississippi River bottomland in the west. Dense hardwood over the eastern half of the state makes the November-to-March leaf-off window the workhorse season for bare-earth capture; West Tennessee's open ag ground is far more forgiving.
Memphis International's Class B — kept busy around the clock by the FedEx hub — and Nashville's Class C are the two major rings, with Class C at McGhee Tyson serving Knoxville. Arnold AFB's airspace near Tullahoma and Fort Campbell's restricted areas on the Kentucky line are the notable military constraints.
Nashville's building boom shows up in our books as pre-construction topo, progress mapping, and utility-relocation support, and the BlueOval City campus at Stanton has pulled megaproject earthwork west along I-40. Memphis logistics and industrial conversions, East Tennessee hydro assets, and steady solar development statewide fill the rest of the schedule.

03// FAQ
Most Tennessee projects fall between $2,500 and $15,000 depending on acreage, vegetation, deliverables, and whether certified survey control is required. Small single-site scans start lower; large or corridor projects are quoted per linear mile. Send a KML of your site and we return an exact quote within 24 hours.
Yes — Pro LiDAR contracts vetted, FAA-certified pilots across Tennessee, including the Nashville area. Because capture happens locally, you don't pay travel mobilization for most sites, and weather windows can be hit quickly.
Our point clouds, DEMs, and contours are engineering-grade and drop directly into CAD, GIS, and BIM workflows. When a deliverable must carry a professional land surveyor's certification, we partner with licensed surveyors in Tennessee to provide it. Remote Optix Inc. and Pro LiDAR are not professional land surveyors and do not represent themselves as such.
