SVC / 01
Drone LiDAR Scanning
Millimeter-accurate aerial point clouds captured by sensor-equipped UAVs.
// Coverage / FL / Orlando
Engineering-grade aerial LiDAR across the Orlando area — captured by FAA-certified pilots who fly this market every week, processed to one national QA standard, delivered in the formats your team works in.
01// Field Notes
Central Florida is flat, sandy, and wet: cypress domes, sloughs, and hundreds of lakes stipple nearly every large parcel, which makes LiDAR's wetland-edge definition especially valuable for permitting here. The daily summer sea-breeze thunderstorm is as reliable as a clock — we fly mornings June through September — and winter offers the driest, most predictable capture season in the country.
Orlando International's Class B spreads over the south metro, Orlando Executive holds a close-in ring near downtown, and Orlando Sanford International covers the Seminole County side. The unusual constraint is the permanent flight restriction over the Walt Disney World resort — our pilots plan tourism-corridor work around it rather than through it.
The tourism corridor never stops building: Universal's Epic Universe expansion area, International Drive and convention-district projects, and the hotel pipeline that follows them all generate repeat progress capture. Lake Nona's medical city continues its two-decade build-out, NeoCity in Osceola County anchors a semiconductor-technology district, and Horizon West and the Clermont fringe rank among the fastest-growing residential areas in Florida.

03// FAQ
Most Orlando projects fall between $2,500 and $15,000 depending on acreage, vegetation, deliverables, and whether certified survey control is required. Small single-site scans start lower; large campuses and corridors are quoted per site or per linear mile. Send a KML of your site and we return an exact quote within 24 hours.
Because our FAA-certified pilots are local to the Orlando area, most sites can be captured within days of contract — weather and airspace authorization permitting — without travel mobilization costs. Processed deliverables typically follow within one to two weeks depending on scope.
Our point clouds, DEMs, and contours are engineering-grade and drop directly into CAD, GIS, and BIM workflows. When a deliverable must carry a professional land surveyor's certification, we partner with licensed surveyors in Florida to provide it. Remote Optix Inc. and Pro LiDAR are not professional land surveyors and do not represent themselves as such.
